Super Hospital Fun Time
This is the first time I've blogged from the iPhone...the convenience of which may make my blog postings more frequent. Or not; typing by the one-finger hunt-and-peck method is a bit frustrating. Then again, the iPhone will allow me to do brief on-the-scene reports, making the blogging experience more immediate and timely. If it works, that is. We shall see.
As I write I'm sitting in the waiting room at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Bryce and Lucy are here to have their tonsils and adenoids taken out and tubes put in their ears. Father Bedingfield from our church met us at the hospital this morning to pray over the children, which was very thoughtful of him. Bryce has already gone under the knife, and Michelle and I are waiting with Lucy, who is engrossed with Dora the Explorer. At three years old they are mercifully unaware of why they are here (thank goodness!).
Lucy just went with the nurse - not as willingly as Bryce, but then she's the timid one. Things were looking dicey, then the nurse offered her some DIsney stickers, and immediately they were the best of friends.
And now we wait...
